Mike Gratton and his colleagues at 209 Events will be there on September 12th to help, and provide event management expertise. 2:09 Events is a company offering training for marathon runners. It describes the different camps and their location, tours to races overseas, schedule of organised trips etc.

 

 

British Waterways Board is the organisation that cares for 2,200 miles of the country's canals and rivers. The have responsibility for the towpaths, the majority of the trail marathon. They have been supportive throughout – even removing a fallen tree across the towpath a few hours before the 2007 race! 

 

  

Hackney Borough Council – Hackney Marshes, and its football pitches are within Hackney. We are grateful for their support and encouragement over the last three years, in helping to bring diversity to the sporting use of the Marshes.

The award-winning beautiful Lee Valley Regional Park stretches 26 miles along the River Lee, from Ware in Herts, through Essex, to the Thames at East India Dock Basin. They will own, manage and fund three Olympic venues after the Games – the White Water Canoe Centre in Broxbourne, plus the VeloPark and Eton Manor venues on the Olympic Park. They encourage those who have never tried sport before, and have been extremely supporting of the 2go running series, and the first trail marathon down the Valley.
