Our 5k and 10k races this year are following the same route, the 10k being a double lap of the course.

Pre-race registration
All 5k & 10k runners that have entered in advance should go to the registration area on the day at Hackney Marsh South. You do not need to complete any forms, just let them know your name at the desk so they can allocate you a number you must have this to participate in the race. We will also take entries for the 5k & 10k on the day. The 3k & 1k fun run for children is entries on the day only.
Race number
Your race number should be attached to the front of your running top with the safety pins provided.
For safety reasons, do NOT swap numbers with other runners.
If you have a medical condition, provide as much information as possible on the reverse of your race number and put a red cross on the front. This is so the doctor and medical teams are aware of any existing medical condition should you require assistance on the course.
Write your name and the name of a person to contact in the case of an emergency plus a telephone number clearly on the reverse of your race number.

Parking is limited at street parking available on Homerton Road, just beside Hackney Marsh, E9 5PF.
Taxis
London black cabs will be on hand at Stratford and at Hackney Marshes for the return journeys
Trains & Buses
Stratford (central or jubilee line) or Leyton (central) are the nearest underground stations
Tottenham Hale (Victoria Line) or London Liverpool Street (Central, Hammersmith & City, Circle and Metropolitan Lines) are the two nearest mainline railway stations
London Overgorund trains can also be taken to Homerton.

HACKNEY MARSHES TWO2GO 10K & 5K
The 10k and 5k races will take place on Hackney Marsh and will use a single lap for the 5k and double lap for the 10k course mostly on tarmac paths but partly on grass. The race will be held under UK Athletics rules (license number 2009-100354).
The course has been measured by Hugh Jones (a UK Athletics level 1 course measurement official, and the first British man to win the London Marathon) and has received a UKA certificate of course accuracy.
The fun run is a 1k loop, across Hackney Marsh and is accessible to old and young alike. Registration for the fun run is on the day.
