What is Two2Go?
Two2Go aims to encourage sport and exercise in the local community for all ages and abilities, as part of the count down to the Olympic & Paralympic Games in 2012. Taking place on the famous Hackney Marshes in the shadow of the growing Olympic Park, the main Two2Go event on Sept11th includes a trail marathon down the beautiful Lee Valley, 10k, 5k & 3k races as well as a family fun run and FREE family festival of sport, music, food and fun!
We are promoting the aims of the Olympic legacy to increase sports participation and healthier lifestyles, particularly for the local communities directly affected by the Olympic Park. We aim to offer community participation for everyone, providing exercise or sporting opportunities for all, particularly those less likely to get active and live a healthier lifestyle
This year we are also hosting the Get Ready2Go launch event on July 24th to give you a chance to come and find out what we are all about and get involved in free sporting activities.
Two2Go is run by Sporting Bunnies Ltd, a not for profit social enterprise, and is staffed predominantly by volunteers.
Sporting Bunnies Ltd are setting up a limited charity called Flopsy Bunnies Ltd (company no: 7278804) with the aim of fundraising for specific charities related to children and young people.
