Who Are We?
Sporting Bunnies is primarily organised by volunteers, most of whom are members of the Serpentine Running club. Our flexibility and enthusiasm enables us to expand rapidly and develop our frequent, regular and wide ranging events. We all care passionately about the benefits of exercise, but not only through running. We are aiming to establish a fitter, healthier community by One2go in 2011, and more importantly for 2012 and beyond. We are always looking for partnership arrangements to underpin our growth and development, not wanting to duplicate the great work already being done in London, linked to the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympics Games.
We are currently in the planning phase of the fourth and fifth of the 2Go series of events, on the back of the successful Five2Go, Four2Go and Three2Go events .
Sporting Bunnies Ltd is affiliated with UK Athletics: number 2662770

The 2Go series is run by not-for-profit social enterprise Sporting Bunnies Ltd (Company no. 6908030)
In 2007, the charity Parents for Children (now part of TACT - The Adolescent and Childrens Trust) started a Five2Go Trail Marathon and 5km Fun Run, with the aim of harnessing the increasing enthusiasm for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and using this to create a wider diversity of sporting opportunities for all.
In 2009 changes at Parents for Children meant that they were no longer able to host the 2Go event series and Eddie Brocklesby, the former director, set up the social enterprise Sporting Bunnies Ltd, with the express purpose of continuing with the 2Go series of events. Brocklesby is a triathlete, Ironman contest participant and marathon runner who took up running 17 years ago, aged 50.
