two2go Marathon, 5k and fun run
The 2go race series has been inspired by the countdown to the 2012 Olympic Games.
The Event
2go is an annual race series of events, which will play an important role in a major celebration of community involvement in sport, linked to 2012.
two2go (the fourth in the race series), is taking place on the 11th September. It will involve a point to point trail marathon, going down the scenic Lee Valley from St Margarets in Herts, often along the tow path and finishing in sight of the rapidly developing Olympic Zone.
There will also be a 5k and 1k race around Hackney Marshes – accessible to runners of all ages and abilities from toddlers to 90+ and including those with disabilities.
Alongside the races is a FREE Family Festival.
The 2go Series
The 2go series is now being organised by Sporting Bunnies; a social enterprise, set up to encourage community participation in sporting events, particularly for over 50’s, young people and those with disabilities.
